So....What Is She Wearing?

This is going to be a new regular feature in which i will attempt to lure my female friends into tossing together some outifts for me. Since i don't get to blog much fem fashion and i know quite a few women that are very capable of keeping me in the know i will allow them to cover this side of the battle of the fashion sexes.

This outfit is entitled The Bitch Is Back from Giselle22 Bristol.

The hair comes from Kyoot Army and is called Hot Mess in Platinum. As you can see it has a stylish headband and a fun funky style to it.

She also chose an item i featured recently from Creamshop, the Linen Stole Muffler seen here in Pink.

Her Mad Ave Jacket comes from Thimbles and has a nice pattern while allowing a bit of tummy to peek out from underneath.

The handbag comes from Dela and is called the Clutch Bag "Zazu" in Crocodile Pink.



The smoothly textured form fitting slacks come from Hudsen Armidi for Armidi Gisaci and are called the Brindisi Slacks shown here in black.

The thin leggings allow them to slip comfortably inside of these amazing shoes. They also come with prim cuff attachments that can be worn along with them that have a bit of a wrinkled bunched up look to them.


These well styled and nicely shaped boots come from J's and are called the 2Way Short Boot. As you can see they are worn with the lengthy bit rolled down over the heel.

I had never visited this shop and was interested to get over there and have a look around.

I hope that this will encourage more female readers to have a peek as i really haven't had the time to even begin to cover female releases. Not sure who will be the next guest just yet. We will both have to wait and see.

So....What Are You Wearing?

Since it is Halloween i thought i would toss together something a bit darker to wear.

I wanted to seem bleak and attractive so i started off with this skin that was released a good while back now called Plague (800L per tone 5 available tones).

As you can see there is heavy red toned eyeliner and lipstick that give this dark/goth like skin its androgynous overtones. There is also a female version of this skin in the same 5 tones and featuring the same makeup touches.


This great extra long scarf was also an item i picked up ages ago that still works well with current fashion trends. It comes from Goth1c0 and is simply titled Checkered Scarf (100L)

The T is Devil Horns (80L) from Tinker Hax's Amplify and it is layered over a fishnet top i picked up from Retox that has all layers and various glove options.

There is also a great dark themed tattoo underneath it all called Bio-Mechanical (200L)from KS Tattoo. It is actually a full back piece with a large skull covering most of the back.


The jeans were either a freebie or dollarbie from Argace last Christmas and are one of the darkest black jeans i have found that still hold thier texture.


I really just wanted to give a nice full body shot of just how long this scarf was as i don't see many that hang quite this low in the grid. There is also an alternate version of the scarf available with skulls drawn into the black squares if that is more fitting for your Halloween ensembles.


Another older item that i still can't find any sort of replacement for are these Emo Shoes (215L) from Monogrind. I was hoping that when he began revamping some of his older items that these would get a nice update as well, but really they never had anything wrong in the first place. As you can see both shoes are slightly different and have a great shape and texture.
Not sure exactly where this Halloween evening will lead, but i think this will be the outfit that gets me there. See you all next post.

So....What Are You Wearing?


Today i wanted to both showcase another fall colored outfit as well as some new releases from Creamshop. If you havent been out to the new sim just yet it's well worth the look. A great new design and all the quality products you have come to expect from the label as well as a couple of new must haves.

The hair is Gritty Kitty Czech Mate (130L) in black again. Lately even with all of the newer shops styles floating around i still keep coming back to Noam's perfect easy to edit styles.


This is a bit of a layered combo i have tossed together to showcase one of the many colors of the new Creamshop Linen Stole Muffler (195L per color 1560L for warm or cool packs 3350L for the whole range). Now granted the brown version only comes in the big fatpack of all available colors. Most of the darks work on a male so you could split the cool and warm tones with a partner if you wish or simply keep the ones you want and toss the spares to friends as gifts.

The Jacket-Tweed-Beige (520L per color or 1260L for 4) comes from Hoorenbeek and i have layered it over a nice striped sweater called Cosy (135L) from Lookr.


These new jeans called Stitched (195L) shown here in black are also from Lookr. As you can see from this and the sweater the textures are nicely done and there are still plenty of other new releases in their new shop. It still has the really neat sealab look to it and i found it easy to burn up quite a few lindens while taking a peek there.

There is also a rolled leg version included and prim cuffs for both and they come in a nice number of different tones to play around with.


I forgot that i had this really nice khaki pair of the Jeepers Creepers Oslo (350L per color or 1000L for all 4 colors) boot and was pleasently suprised to find them in my closet while putting this together. While the other versions seem to have an almost velvet like texture these seem to have a bit more a leather look to them that is simple yet stylish. As always the details are great including the buckled straps that run across the outer side of the boot.

The more i get into fall the more i find myself out hunting for layers and preparing for the winter to come. When all else fails dig into those older items you never know what may come out of the closet.

So....What Are You Wearing?

Today i just wanted something simple but nice enough to play in. I knew i would have to dress up a bit for this evenings Haunted House For Unicef event and i just needed something to spend the day in.

This hair is called Indy from Philotic Energy shown here in blonde. It is a bit of an older release but as you can see it still holds up well with its choppy look and long sharp bangs drooping down in various lengths over your face. I don't however believe this is available any longer as i could not seem to find it in her shops again.


Found this great layered shirt combo from :Sey called :Sey T & Shirt =57= (400L) laying in the floor of my apt and tossed it on.

As you can see even though the price is a tad steep you get a great prim collar and cuffs. The textures are well drawn and detailed and look comfy like this with the long sleeves shown or with one of the other many options included in the package including a diff logo and short sleeve versions of both logo variations. There a quite a few different combos of T's and flannel undershirts available including some with darker themes just in time for Halloween.

These well textured nice looking Classic Jeans w/Accessories (315L) come from Hoorenbeek and this is as simple as they can be. There are a wealth of options and attachments that come along with the package including a belt, chain wallet, key holder, ipod, and various smoking accessories that add different unique ways to wear them.

I believe this is the sale price that is going on atm for 25% off so rush in and snag a pair today. Everything that comes along with them make the package well worth every linden. Also while you are there have a peek around as there are many other items also recieving the lowered sale price for a limited time only.


The shoes in today's outfit are an older pair from Proda Jie's Shop Therapy called the Route 66 Shell Toe Sneaker (400L) and come in 5 available sizes in each package.

A few months ago he also re-updated the series by releasing two other color variations Black and Pink and they can be found in his Big Star location.

Nothing to fancy in todays outfit but it served me well as i awaited my busy evening. See you all next post.

So...What Are You Wearing?

Today's outfit is a bit of a Harajuku boy style and was inspired by this great new hair from Noam Sprocket's Gritty Kitty called Pride (130L per color).

This hair is easily one of the best androgynous hairstyles available in all of SL. Males or females can come up with tons and tons of looks due to its choppy but attractive style. It has well detailed flexi bits that move perfectly. Also note the crossed barrettes above the bangs. I found this hair very easy to edit into place on my huge noggin and i will be going back again and again for more colors.

The scarf comes from F.A.T. Designz and is called the ACE-X (330L). As you can see in these pics there are great lengthy tails that run down the chest as well as the back. Near the neck are some well detailed small prim charms with chains, skulls, and a small F.A.T. logo. There is also a band that runs underneath to keep the scarf tied in place as you can see here in this photo.

The shirt is an oldie but goodie from Moderno's Ciao evening suit and is no longer available but looks great with this outfit.


I thought i would try to add a touch of sparkle to this outfit with this bracelet from Yukirei Accessories. This is the Dagger Leather Bracelet (150L) and is aptly named as you can see by the dangling dagger trinkets that hang from around the band.

The more i return to this store the more i notice just how much detail is in each and every piece here. If daggers are not your cup of tea there is plenty to look at in a variety of styles.


These are the new Muism Tartan Check Pants (350L per color 1300L for all 5) shown here in Macrae. As you can see they have the usual great Muism textures and lines. Prim cuffs for males or females are provided in the package and with all of these mixtures of colors it is simple to find something to match any outfit you may wish to add them too.
I'm still not quite sure this outfit is completely finished but really is any outfit. Happy shopping and see you next post.

So....What Are You Wearing?

Today i wanted to start digging around and trying to come up with something to wear for all the upcoming Halloween bashes. Instead of a traditional costume i decided to become a woman and this is what is coming together.

This holiday witch themed hat/hair combo is from Katatonik and is called Wish Hair (225L). Tons of scripted options come in the package so that it can pretty well match anything you may wear.

The skin is a current freebie from Minnu Model Skins and you will recieve four in the pack there is also a male version of the pack with multiple skins and prim lashes included.

If you dont mind the wait you can also pick up this very cute Halloween skirt from the Katatonik's lucky chair. There was a large crowd but in the end it helped to flip the letters pretty quickly and i was able to snag one within a couple of hours.

You can also snag this wonderful Katty Doll (150L) or any of the others which are all equally well made and nice cute accessory.



These are the Shiny Things Glossy Ribbon Boots (500L) in black and as with all of her footwear every detail is spectacular. There are quite a few different options on how glossy the boots can be or the option to wear the calf portion skinny or wide.

Not sure that this will be my final mix and match but i wanted to highlight a couple of the great Halloween things floating around the grid and show you what i was able to do with them. All of these are fairly versatile and i think if you just want to dress up a bit in holiday colors these allow plenty of options to do so.

Also if you don't mind the wait here is a quick snapshot of the other available lucky chair dress at Katatonik.
This is the Strawberry Dream Dress and as you can see it has many strawberries strewn about as small details. Two options for the top layer let you wear both the sweater and undershirt together or as seperates if you wanted to pair them up with something else you have in your SL closet.

So....What Are You Wearing?

I have yet to get around to choosing my Halloween costume for the year. Seeing as i have been so lazy about it i thought i could at least throw together something with a nice Halloween feel.

This amazing hat is a gift from a long time, hard working and generous friend Violet Morellet and as you can see it has very detailed sculpted candy around the rim. I plan on showing off a couple of the others i was lucky to get from her while playing a recent set.


It turns out i just don't have a ton of orange clothing and due to this i was lucky to do some digging and remember these great layered BeatDown Shirts (250L for all 5 colors) from Sinistyle.

Perfect for the slight cold of an October night these well textured and nicely detailed shirts come in five colors. As you can see you have the undershirt just peeking out a bit from under the longsleeve and this photo really doesn't do them justice.

Sinistyle may not always be known for casual cool style but Krius Misfit definately hit the mark here using the skills used in all of his great products to produce something laid back and comfortable.
This cuff comes from Monogrind and is simply titled the Burnt Cuff (102L). It has a highly photorealistic leather texture and flows well from the black leather into the orange/black/white checkerboard pattern.

There is also a great looking brown leather clasp on the inner wrist with a highly detailed buckle. No matter what style you have in your normal street wear i think you can find a variety of outfits to use this with as it is both a bit grimey and stylish at the same time.
So while everyone is busy being obsessed with the new SOREAL sneaker which believe me deserves it praise. Monta Horan manages to find a lesser known, yet primed for big things shop and comes out with these gems. If you haven't seen his blog yet men or women take a lesson from me here and give it a peek (Link to his blog provided on the right hand side of this blog).
These wonderful shoes come from Algernon and are the Canvas Lace Sneaker (270L for a 6 color combo scripted shoe). They are scripted in 6 different color combinations and all of them look perfect together. If you can't afford the SOREAL kicks on your SL budget this is definately a great looking well priced pair of sneakers worth each and every precious linden.

So....What Are You Wearing?

Today's outfit is something refined but relaxed. Mellow fall friendly tones with a little zazz that would be comfortable while relaxing in the park admiring the foliage.

I really wish i could have managed a better shot of this amazing Mhaijik Steampunk Grind Necklace (275L) from Mhaijik things so you could see the great detail work on the charm. It has a very intricate design that is sylish and steam at the same time. There is also a companion bracelet and ring to round out a full set of men's jewelry.



This is the Novocaine Cafe Cardigan (265l per color or 1850 for all 8) seen here in Pine. A nice comfy fabric texture surronds the bolder toned stripe that runs the length of the sweater. The undershirt comes along in the package and works well with each of the avalaible colors.

If you have the linden to spend this is a simple one stop package for a lot of your fall needs with many options to work with for a variety of outfits.



The jeans are from Muism and are called Vintage Jeans_Rolled Up Cuff (298L per version or 650L for all 3). They have a really well worn distressed look to them with what appear to be manicured wrinkles and tears. They also feature great prim cuffs that you can see a bit better in my shoe shot.

You will get a male and female pair of jeans and the matching cuffs for each in the package.
These are the new shoe from Kalnins the Crossyard (500L) and as you can see they are a very well done release. You may think the price seems a bit steep but with their 11 available scripted colors these are a steal for the quality.
With the Cardigan/Shoe combo seen here you have to potential to create a ton of different colored outfits to match any mood.

So....What Are You Wearing?

For today's outfit i wanted to try something a little bit more Rock n' Roll and this is what i have come up with.
The hair is normally what i call my Nikki Sixx hair. This is actually a female style from Goldie Locks called Electra (200L per color or 1000L for the pack). It has a nice textur is great for those old school metal moments.
The mask is called the Kute Kitty Gas Mask (146L) from Monogrind. I honestly don't know what to say about this that it doesn't say itself. Simply hardcore.
This great Punk Out (80L) T-Shirt is from Tinker Hax's Amplify label and as you can see it has a colorful almost explosive graphic.

The tattoo is called Samurai Ghost (200L) and comes from Slinked. It runs from the neck down both sleeves and has a nice evil metal tattoo look to it. It is available for all layers and each layer looks fine on its on so there is no need to double up for details.



These new jeans DN Jeans 03 Clean (90L) from Ducknipple seemed to go well with the look with their checkered pattern on the left pocket area and rips and tears. Prim cuffs are provided for both jeans and capris so you get two pairs of possible pants for the price of one if you are a female or an adventurous male.
There is also a Dirteh version that provides the same prims and options.

These well made shoes are from Monogrind and are called Asphalt Stompers (270L per color or 699L for all three colors). The right shoe has a strap and buckle not shown here as i wanted to get a nice shot of both the texture of the shoe and the well made eyelets and laces.
As you can see a metal look doesn't just have to be black leather and big blinging spikes. There are plenty of ways to add a bit of fashion to your edgy looks.

So....What Are You Wearing?


Today's outfit isn't so much for color but packs a good bit of class. Simple and informal but nice enough to impress.

Up top im wearing the Argrace Beanie Medium - Black (250L per color or 200L for just the cap with no hair). This thing will prob end up in tons of Fall/Winter outfits. Feel free to tell me when you are sick of it. It also comes in two female hairstyles and one other shorter version for the men.


This great sweater/scarf combo is one item called the Grey Line V-Neck Sweater (250L). The scarf is a prim attachment included and you also get cuffs if you choose to wear the sweater at full sleeve length.

It is a nice and tidy package that includes all layers for both versions of the sweater and the scarf fit well and was easy to edit into place.

These Gold/Silver Black Denim Jeans (250L) also come from Valiant and have a great graphic on the back pockets and prim cuffs that may be the best matching ive seen thus far. Virtually seamless due to the nice dark fabric textures used.

As you can see there are many wrinkles and creases that help to breath some nice life into them as well as a well drawn belt.

Last but certainly not least the Oslo Boots (350L per color or the 4 color pack for 1000L) from Jeepers Creepers. Simple, elegant, and refined these boots work with virtually any outfit to give them a nice touch of class. The nice soft texture and small details like the criss crossed lacing add even more to a great shape and design.

Not a ton of color in today's outfit but plenty of attraction.
