So....What Is She Wearing?

Today's special female guest outfit comes from Marrrriaa Quintessa. She like all of my other guests was able to put together something unique and her own and I think you will enjoy it.

Her hair is from ::69:: and is called Rush 2 (200L per tone package). It's a nice long hairstyle that fits well with her Native American themed skin.

The headband to complete the look comes from Slow Kitchen and is called Hippie Headband (50L). It works very well with the look and ties everything together.

This snazzy looking Felicity Sky (275L) dress comes from Elate and was well made and moved along well with her AO. It made it a bit tough to capture a picture to really show this but it has a very nice flow and realistic movements.

The Navy Bracelet was a gift from Untone Quilt and has some well made small primwork that fit in very well with the look with all of its bits and bobs.

I also noticed this tattoo she was wearing from Garden of Ku called The Tibetan Book (200L). I have always admired well made tattoos and have trouble finding them at times. The Garden however has always seemed to come through with well made and varied tattoos to choose from.

Each tattoo that i have picked up from there doesn't miss a bit of the details from the main image down to any small text or detailing it is always there and ready to add a special something to that new skin.

Her choice in the shoe department was Maitreya's Mishima Dawn (375L). There isn't much I have to say about Maitreya's shoes that hasn't been said before. They are stylish and great looking shoes and I am sure the shop itself is in most women's top five shoe outlets.

All of her shoes have been well shaped and varied for just about any look. With great texturing and at least with the men's shoes plenty of color options to get them fitting an outfit just right.

So....What Are You Wearing?

Today's outfit is just a simple two-tone i wanted to wear while out and about.

The hat/hair are from Sey and is called the Watch Cap (350L). It is not only a well made and comfy looking hat but a nice mid length hairstyle. It has scripted color change and resize options and a nice variety of colors to choose from.

The necklace is also a new item from Mhaijik Things Tungsten release. There are two necklaces a bracelet and a ring. The necklace shown is the Tungsten and Steel Pendant Necklace (250L).

This sharp looking Skully Knit Sweater (130L) from Artilleri seemed to be the perfect fit for both the changing seasons and for its similar texture to the cap.

It has a rich comfy looking texture and some nicely done shading even though the sweater is black. A good looking funky pattern to surround the skulls rounds out the package and gives it both a stylish and fun look. It may be rare that we men get a release from Artilleri but each one is very well made and unique and well worth a visit.

The jeans for this outfit came from Kari and are called The Rebel Jeans (100L). As with all of his jeans they have a great look and the Kari logo over the right pocket.

The prim cuffs match up very well no matter how they are edited and you recieve two different sizes that you can use to fit well over any shoe or boot. They are also very fairly priced for their quality and all four variations look equally well.

I have used these Akeyo Chuck LowTop (600L) a few different times on the blog already. Due to this I hope you are starting to realize the almost infinite amount of color combos you can make and just how much you can edit these with their easy to use HUD.
At the price of one or two other well made second shoes they are a steal for the amount of use you can get out of them. Also there are newly released dances at the mainstore that are a nice option to add to your chimera collection.

So....What Are You Wearing?

Today's outfit was something i stumbled on while researching the price of another item. It seemed to be a lucky find as well and plenty of value for the price.

The Queen of the Junkyard Crown from Kyoot was given to me for a job well done djing this week at The Velvet. This is a cool little headress and would look great in themed photos.

The glasses are actually a freebie from Role Optic and are as well made as any glasses ive seen in SL. While you are there be sure to have a look at the newly released Aviators.

This suit is Valiant's Designer Showcase Autumn Suit (125L). If you want to talk about bang for your buck this is a tough suit to beat.
There are two jacket layers, both under layers, and prim cuffs and collar. All of it is just as well made as any of his other fine men's products with great texturing and a nice look with the plaid vest layered over the simple white dress shirt. The cuffs fit well and i was able to edit them very easily for a nice fit.

The slacks that come along with the suit are also well textured and look nice with the belt slighty peeking out from underneath the jacket.

As with the shirt they include prim cuffs that fit well over a variety of shoes with minimal edits and sliding into place.

All in all i have rarely seen this much for so little other then possibly the B@rerose outfits and with just shoes and hair tossed in the mix you are set.

Speaking of shoes these are the new Kalnin Atlantica Boots. He keeps branching off in new directions with each release and now offers dress, sneakers and finally a boot.
They feature all of his normal shoe options with scripted sizing and coloring as well as the shine level of the boot. The textures are richly done leathers and have nice small detail work on the seams.

So....What Are You Wearing?

This outfit is just something i tossed on recently to run around in and i thought i would share.

The hair is an oldie but goodie from Cake (300L per tone or 8000L for a pack of all) called Beck shown here in black. A nice well styled mullet like style with a bit of a tough edge to it.

The Aviator (189L) glasses come from King for men and are a great deal for the price with a nice range of lense and frame colors to choose from. I also added in Lucas Lameth's Mala Beads Necklace (179L) for a small but well made detail.

This is the Wimbledon Cream Cardigan (200L)from Valiant and like his other products which come in a nice range of styles and colors it has nice texture work and attention to detail.

The large buttons and soft look of the sweater work well together and it really looks like it fits comfortably on your frame. There are very few shops that are dedicated only to male fashion and Valiant has definately come through with release after release of quality products with men in mind.

I have featured the LB Trouser (350L) from Muism in my blog a couple of times now in two other versions and this is the third and last version available in gold/brown.

I love the baggy look of these and how they are able to keep both a casual and well styled look to them. The prim cuffs are easy to edit and the package is made for both males and females and look great on both.

This is another variation of the Truth XTrainer (350L per color or 3000L for the pack) shoe that i have also featured recently. I regret not just waiting out the linden and buying the pack as i already know i will return over and over again to get pairs to mix and match.
All of his shoe releases are well done and it is always nice to have more shoe options as a male as our selection of quality footwear seems to be a problem for many male shoppers.

So....What Is She Wearing?

Today my special guest is someone i have worked with for a good while in SL from her club The Juice to various charity events that i was honored to dj for. Her name is Violet Morellet and this is the outfit she was nice enough to contribute.

Her hair is called Pipy (2 color packs for 200L)from Mirai Style and its a fun style with nice long sections and great texture work. It also has that great little headband that you may have seen both in RL and spread about on fashionable SL women for a little while now.

This top is part of a new Bijou outfit called the Vibe Leopard Set (300L for top, vest and jeans). There is also a leopard vest top that comes along with this version that isnt shown here as well as a multitude of different color mix and matches of tops and vests. The top also comes with some wrinkled prim cuffs if you choose to go that route with the outfit.

Each of them are all very well made and there are quite a few other new releases for you ladies to have a peek at while you are there in just about every style you could imagine.

These are the pair of jeans that rounds out the outfit and they have great shading work and manicured tears and spots. The pocket and knees are especially well done and i think you definately get your lindens worth with the many options and mix and match combos available.

This was actually my first time to visit Bijou and i really wish men were so lucky to have more dedicated shops with a variety of styles and colors available. Stop in Bijou today i guarantee you won't be dissapointed.

The shoes she chose are the Pornstar Xtra Hi-Tops from Urban Bomb Unit. If you were like me and grew up through the 80's I am sure you remember the long two color cons that you could roll the flap down to display the inner color.

As far as i know these are the only shoe like this in all of Second Life and no detail is overlooked. The shoe itself is a great remake of a classic shoe with great texture work and amazing lifelike laces.

She also had this really great Ninja Thumb Band-Aid on but i couldn't for the life of me get a good close up of it to show it off properly. It was made by Adeline Blackthorne and i havent seen anything like it thus far. Definately worth looking into for a small detail touch.

So....What Are You Wearing?

It's been a hectic week for me lately and i apologize for not getting off my ass and getting some posting done. You may however have seen me as a cock cover on another blog in my links.

Today i am using the Gritty Kitty Hathair (130L) again this time in brown due to the look it has when paired up with these Essential Frames (245L) shown here in black/clear. I really have a slight addiction to black rimmed glasses and these are a nice addition while also being scripted for multiple colors and lense combinations.

Since i had that combo going i thought i would make up a bit of a preppy oxford comma look and right away Fuse came to mind. If you haven't had the chance be sure to get out and see his new mainstore as there are plenty of well made things for men and women available.

This is the Oxford Top (115L or 350L for a 4 pack) shown here in Chocolate. It comes in four colors each with its own unique tie color and can be purchased in a nice little package. The ties and collar line are great as is the rippled waistline and serves perfectly for a trip to Cape Cod.

I somehow seem to have missed out on when these matching Oxford Denim (110L) jeans for the outfit came out. I have had the tops for a bit of a while now but when going to see the new mainstore i noticed these.

They come in two tones a nice blue and this noir texture shown here. They have nice heavy stitching and easy to edit prim cuffs that seem to fit well around most of the shoes I tried them with with minimal editing.

So....What Are You Wearing?

Today i wanted to do something a bit out of the ordinary. I think for the most part fashion is what you make it and there are times you shouldn't be worried about what the other fashionistas think and just have some fun.

These great glasses come from Vintage Wear and are called Retro Shades (295L) shown here in Yellow/Clear but there are a nice assortment of colors and lense variations in each package to customize them any way you see fit.

The Baseball Jersey (155L) is one of the last releases i remember from Brogear and there are a couple of different variations on the graphics. I always liked these growing up and it doesn't hurt that he put a nice little thumbs up Pac-Man on it to soothe my inner game nerd.

There are 3 versions of graphics available and either 4 or 5 different colors for each depending on the packs you choose. I know he has said he has things in the works and I am eagerly awaiting his new releases.

Todays shoes are the Akeyo Akidaz (600L). As with all of the rest of his other shoes they are more then a deal for the money. Well made and great looking with a ton of different scripted options from sizing to color schemes.
I love that so many designers are moving out of the 2-300L per pair shoes and into a more expensive yet more providing package at a much more reasonable price.

So....What Are You Wearing?

I knew that yesterday a lot of my time would be taken up djing. I took the opportunity to attempt to dress the part a bit and here is what i came up with.

The hair today is from Gritty Kitty and is called Hathair (130L per tone with 13 available tones) shown here in black. It is actually a new short style meant to fit well underneath a hat, but I found it looks quite well on its own. As with all of his other hair products it is well made and easy to edit and comes in a nice number of tones to mix and match with any outfit you see the need.

This great Music Love (200L) hoodie comes from Gearshift and has quite a few neat features to go along with being a great looking piece to add to your inventory.

The hood can be worn up or down and both are scripted to edit the size easily. The hoodie itself can also be worn with the sleeves at full length with prim cuffs or rolled with prim rolled cuffs all included in the same package. Each of his various hoodies as well as the recently released track suits all have a really nice crisp style to them and are well worth a trip to his shop.

To keep with the oversized look i had going i popped over to Civvies for a pair of Posy Trudeau's Baggy Jeans (175L).

This pair of jeans are really well made and by far the best looking pair of baggy jeans in SL. The cuffs have a perfect overhang for any shoe i have used with them and are easy to edit up and down into place while matching up nicely with the rest of the leg. Also have a look at her new Nonchalant Blazer that was released recently and the graphic versions of these jeans.

The shoe i chose for this outfit is the Kalnin Road Blazer (630L) and his folder in my inventory continues to grow. Each new release is even better then the last and he is starting to branch out in different casual directions giving you more options with his shoes.

Although the price on these may seem expensive at first, you get 11 different color options scripted in one shoe and with a shoe this well made you may only be able to afford 2-3 tones at any other major shoe retailer. They also come in a second set of pastel colors for the same price.

So....What Is She Wearing?

This weeks special guest female outfit comes from Eeka Batz and though she seemed nervous when i asked her to come up with one i think she did a great job.

Her hair is from Aden and is titled Kara Re-Mastered (150L per color or 900L for the pack) in light blonde. As you can see its a very well made hair with overswep bangs and two great long tails. Aden may seem to be known mainly for her skin work and i can see why, but her hair shouldn't be downplayed as many of the styles were well made and available in a nice amount of tones.

This great jacket is the BP Duffle Coat (250L) in red. It has a really great red texture and some nice detailing. The houndstooth clasps and the buttoned clasps on the cuffs are both wonderful touches. I also like the shading on both of the front pockets and along the sleeve arms are some thin lighter toned stripes that also help this coat look even better.

As we move into fall i find myself already stocking up on new coats and sweaters almost daily. I seem to remember having an older male version of this and it looked just as good on a man. So don't be afraid to try one of the six available colors of this in the Male version.
Her lower half is covered by a combination of the Shop Seu Short Pants in black (90L) which have their own unique look and the BP 2008 Wool Tights (120L for 4 color packs) in black gold polka dot. I liked the textures on these and they could be a nice sexy summer short without being a daisy duke if needed as well.

The tights are also well made and work well in well both the shorts and tucked into her nice boots. There are also an argyle and single color versions with a wide range of different color choices available
The boots she chose come from Shiny Things and are called Comfy Boots (350L). The shop name alone says quality and that is apparent in all of her shoes, boots, and accessories.
Great texturing and well shaped these could be used for tons of different outfits and looks. the rippled area just around the heel is a nice touch and they look as if they are a nice soft suede or velvet covered boot.
Once again i would like to take time to thank each of my current female guests and the female guests to come for sharing a bit of their personal syle and covering things from a female perspective.

So....What Are You Wearing?

For today's outfit i didn't think i would wind up with another look alike, that is until i stumbled upon the Daft Punk - Discovery (700L) helmets from Pharen Digital.

As you can see he didnt miss any details and there are multiple versions as well as both the gold and silver helmets available.

There are also different LED light patterns like th e arrow and the silver helmet has its tradmark scrolling text. You will also recieve an all black skin that helps the helmet match your head a bit better for a snug easy fit and the gloves to go along with the outfit.

This tuxedo comes from Styles of Edo and is called simply 2008 Tuxedo4 Coordinated20 (650L). This is the version with the Rye Jacket and it seems very classy while having just a bit of a wild flair.

It has a well detailed tie and as you can see the collar and kerchief are both very attractive and draw a nice line around your form. The vest is bright and nicely patterned as well to add just a tad of flair and pop to the rest of the suits dark solid tones.

The shoes to go with the tuxedo came from Kalnins and are called the Marteno (500L). As with all of his recent releases these are very well shaped and textured.

They fit well and have an easy to use color change script to fit a nice variety of suits and tuxedos. There are also some very well done touches added to the toe of the shoe that give it a really great overall look.

So....What Are You Wearing?

Today's outfit is a special shout to Rance Alva and is also a bit of a tribute to a great little band called Black Kids and their lead singer Reggie Youngblood.

Up top today is the Freedom Fro from Nylon Outfitters. This is my go to fro though you may have better personal results with Creamshops Small Afro.

The Skin was tough to track down as Reggie is darker than tan but lighter than most darker male skins. I lucked out by retracing my steps back to Nylon Outfitters after going through quite a few other shops and stumbled on this Herschel - Shaved (800L) skin that just about fit the bill.

I am also wearing one of Humby Designs new unisex graphic T's (50L) called Tape It For Me shown here in black.

All of these new T's have great colorfull and stylish graphics and come in two shades. There are a nice little assortment of five various colorfull graphics ready to wear with whatever your next casual affair may require.

Next i would need the skinny indie hipster jean to help round out this look. I popped over to Emery and was able to use these Daft Jeans (150L) to fill my needs quite well there was also a super indie hipster/emo white belt version of these as well.

They have a nice fit to them and come with prim cuffs which are always great to defeat the bugged jean mishap that we all love so much. The texturing and shading are done well and they are a nice looking pair of thin skinny slacks that you could use in a variety of other ways.

I found it tough to find a good picture of many of the shoes that Reggie normally wears. I figure though if anything it would either be something vintage or the newest thing out.

I went with the newest and here they are the Truth Xtrainer (350L). Great range of colors if you can afford them. Male and female sizes are included in the package and there are a good number of variations to choose from or pick up in one big pack. Quality work is shown on these and its nice to see more designers taking a stab at shoes.
