So...What Are You Wearing?

Normally I tend to dress more casual cute and today I wanted to challenge myself and put a little edge on things.

The hair today is from MADesigns and is called Bernard (300L per tone pack 1800L for 36 tones) shown here in Natural Black III. It's a nice choppy tough looking style that I found very easy to edit.

The great looking lense scripted goggles are from Dirty Cute and are the Engineer Goggles (250L) in brown.

This very well made jacket is the new Ram Leather Coat (380L each or 1300L for 7 of the 14) from Aoharu. There are a ton of various colors to choose from that all have this smooth shine to them. They come with prim collar, cuffs, epaulets, and bottom section that all fit well straight out of the box.

The tattoo although barely visable was something else I recently purchased from Garden Of Ku. It is called Koi Koi (250L) and has a really nicely done fish pattern along both sides of the body. I have a few tattoos from this shop and none of them have been a dissapointment.

The Skinny Jeans (120L) in black for this outfit came from Unknown Boutique and I found them on a lucky random tp trip and am already found of the nice thick white stitches and well shaded texture.
The Sey RJK2 Glove Holder (150L) seemed like the perfect new accessory to go with the overall look that I was going for. This is a nice original design and really adds a nice touch to the rest of the outfit with the many featured details and its ease to wear and display from the waist.

When looking for a man's man boot no male has to go any further then Gutter Boots. Gutterblood Spoonhammer not only gives you plenty of quality for your linden but there are a nice variety of looks available that have a similar tough look while each remaining unique.

The pair in this outfit are the Vincent Boots (100L) and have buckled straps running the length of the sides. They also have a hardened steel toe that looks as if it has been screwed into the boot.

So...What Are You Wearing?

Today I decided that I would get out and replace those oh so evil Skandaloose skins. I also thought it might give me a chance to toss something new together to wear.

To replace the skin I headed back to Aitui to have a demo at some of his darker toned skins. I ended up walking away with this Redeemer - Tone 4 - Shaved (1800L per skin) skin and I am quite pleased with the looks. My previous was in his lightest tone and I find that the eyeliner plays very well with the tan skin when I dont need it to stand out as it does on the pale version.

When I was out at Redgrave shopping for my last outfit I also picked up this Grunge Jacket (450L)in Deep Brown and knew I would work something around it.

It comes with a stand alone Jacket as well as the version shown here with the shirt and scarf. There is also a shirt layer that is worn underneath to puff the sleeves. You get a prim collar, two versions with hoods and sleeves as well in the package. Also there are two seperate bottom pieces with one being made more for a narrow shaped man.

The Super Lowrise Jeans (298L per pair or 999L for all four versions) for this outfit are an older release from Muism that I still find myself pulling out of the closet now and then.

They have a nice denim texture and a few different versions allowing you to change the flare of the cuff as well as a prim made roll up version.

If you choose to purchase the whole pack you will recieve four tones giving you a nice variety of color and choice overall.

I have been to J's shoe shop many times with female friends that were out to get some new release boot of one style or another. They have even been featured on some of my female outfit guest's feet.

The newest release however is a great unisex 3way Engineer Boot (400L per pair or 1200L for all five) that comes with both the male and female size as well as a wide version of the boot. They are well made and stylish looking and provide some nice detail work on the strap and buckle.

To anyone who shopped at Skandaloose due to my blog posts

As it turns out the designs seem to have been stolen and i apologize to anyone who supported this creator due to this blog. Compare and contrast here.

So...What Are You Wearing?

I wanted to try and squeeze in a few more winter outfits while I still have the chance (most days have been around 60 degrees already in Texas) and this is one of them.

The hair today I planned on wearing quite a bit more over the cold months and just really never seemed to find things to wear along with it. It's a nice Knit Cap (250L per tone or 1400L for the fatpack) and hair combo from Argrace. The cap itself has a handy resize script and is also scripted for a nice variety of colors.

My top today comes from Redgrave and is the Line-Knit(390L) sweater. As with all of the products featured here the cost may seem steep but in the end you will recieve some of the most well made and realistic clothing on the grid.

This is a comfy fitting and looking sweater that has a very well worn look and the torn collar is especially a nice touch. All layers come along with the package for the ability to layer it under a jacket or over a T-Shirt. Also included are a pair of open ended prim cuffs and a pair of pockets that are worn on the sleeves.

Another item I stumbled upon from Redgrave were these Sporty-Nylon Pants (450L). They have a very slick texture and great shading and come in a large number of tones. Unfortunately there is no fatpack available but you can take your choice of eleven various tones.

They didnt come with prim cuffs but seem to fit well with most of the shoes I tried out with them. Included in the package are two different pairs, one featuring a belt and one without.

Today's shoe is one of the six new pairs of Luciano de Vincenzi Loafers (400L per pair) from Jeepers Creepers. These are some very unique shoes in that each of the six versions are so similar in shape and so different in appearance.

The styles are not only standard dress attire like the Firenze shown here as there are pairs featuring bright color patterns and buckles. There is also a pair called Red Diamonds with just that down the length and a bowtie where tied laces would normally be. A very well made and creative series of shoes and must be seen.

So...What Are You Wearing?

Today I have a chance to show off a few things that were laid on me recently by Dice Beattie. I was a bit familiar with his style from seeing him featured on Monta's blog and knew I was in for some really bright vibrant colors to work with. I also took a bit of inspiration from producer and dj Le Castle Vania for the Nu-Rave ensemble.

The hair today is from Gritty Kitty and is called Sebastian (150L per tone)and comes in a variety of tones. Also the seperate colored bang portion is scripted so you can change it to fit any outfit needs.

If you have somehow missed out on the dance music revival being blogged about by many a hipster then this is a chance for you to catch up on a re-born scene of dj and dance culture.

Dice definately brings the ultra modern yet early period rave colors and similar slogans to his work. This is club wear for club people without a doubt. Bright loud designs that are meant to snag attention were found in each of the items that were passed my way like these T's (90L each large variety available)

After seeing both the original and hand drawn look to both the tee's and these Damask Jeans (120L) which are tintable so if bright isnt your thing you can fit them to whatever is I had to take a peek at this store as I had only paid a visit to his Beats Outlet and didn't realize he also ran another shop titled Roll The Dice.

There was a lot of other T designs as well as the bright scarf featured here. Also in the shop are some colorful shades and sharp looking gym shorts which I am slowly becomming addicted to in preparation for the warmer months ahead.

So...What Are You Wearing?

Today I woke up feeling a bit under the weather and wanted to put something together that would give me a smile.

Up top is the Flynn (130L per tone) from Gritty Kitty in Liquorice and is an atheletic looking style with a scripted headband that can be black or white borded around nine different colors.

The sweet stache is The Walrus Stache (50L)from Illusions also scripted in many tones and this one has been dubbed Ferdinand.

I recieved a notice from the Humby Designs group about a new shop that had just entered her mall. When I arrived for a look I was welcomed by a small shop called The Naked Tree offering a few different tops and some well made jeans.

Though the selection atm is a bit limited there are plenty of nice buys like this Mustache Tee with its hip retro shades and burly walrus stache this is just an intro to the variety and creativity in each item in this shop. Stylish comical wear that is more then fit for fashion and definately worth the visit to the main store.

I have had these Track Runner shorts from Addict in mind for a good while after seeing them featured in a funny photo by Francois Ghost on his flickr.

For some reason I really never got around to putting together a sporty fun look to go with them but once a certain release comes along it can really spark the entire idea for a fun upbeat outfit.

This is the release that has inspired the outfit. A set of 80's Workout Poseballs (150L) from Redd Columbia's Cluster.

You get the mat and workout radio that plays some 80's workout jams as well as a large selection of varied workout animations, hand weights and a sweatband.

The gang is all here Hip Thrusts, Leg Lifts (Shown here), Lower Ab Workout and some basic aerobic steps.

So...What Are You Wearing?

I have wanted to do something with the Creamshop Umbrella (285L) for a long time and I happened to stumble upon a few different things that finally came together for a rainy day look.

First up the new mouth attachment which is a Bubbly Bar of Soap (150L) from LCKY. There is also a tiny heart etched into the bar but my brightness seems to have drowned it out against the light blue texture. With the current trend of mouth treats floating around the grid I find this to be one of the more unique and cute.

This is the Duck Rain Coat (300L) also from LCKY. In the previous picture above you can see the hood that lends it it's name.

In addition to the raised hood you also recieve prim sleeves and a version of the lowered hood. It is well made with a nice rubbery look and thick industrial zipper. The raised hood fit easily over my hair which was a huge plus though i did have to do a decent amount of editing to get the sleeves to fit my fat man arms.

I am still using the Armidi Lowrise Jeans (2400L for the bunch) in quite a few outfits as they have become my tucking jean of choice.

If you have a want for the current indie hipster look this is easily your best option. A nice variety of tones and styles all easily purchased from the new Armidi shopping site which means no muss no rez shopping and top notch quality right at your fingertips.

The shiny rubber rainboots you see here I picked up ages ago during the ETD sale and just never got around to fitting to my fat man feet.
They turned out to be pretty easy to edit and matched the outfit well with their bright waterproof textures.
If anything I learned that with a little courage to toy with some prims that non fitting unisex usable item you stumble on can end up being the perfect finishing touch to a nice ensemble.

So...What Are You Wearing?

Today I had a few different things I recently picked up and wanted to toss together for a casual winter day.

The hair today is from MADesigns and is called Alex (300L for one tone in 3 shades or 1500L for all colors) shown here in NBIII. It's a classy short unisex style and so far my favorite of the MAD releases.

The tasty chocolate donut is part of a jewelry set from Canimal called Eat Donuts!! (100L). Great on her, tasty on you.

If you haven't had a chance just yet you should also stop by Aoharu soon to take advantage of their current 50% off sale.

I managed to get the whole pack of the Shiny Down Jackets (170L each or 600L for 7 colors on sale now) in natural colors for a very fair price. This is a really well made jacket with a prim hood, collar and sleeves that is easy fitting and looks very realistic. The textures are shiny and well drawn and there is also another pack that adds a bit more color.

The Tee that I wore underneath was the Aitui Dance Tee (110L). Its simple yet fun with its little stick robot commanding you to hit the dancefloor.

I have shopped with Aitui for a good while now and still most times that I pay a visit I will come out with something new that I want to tinker around with and add to my closet.

Let's hope he doesn't get overly focused on his female line and keeps showering the men of SL with well made fashions.

Through the tp of an aunt"s friend"s best friend"s wife's second cousin i wound up in a little shop called LikeA.
It seems that for simply joining their shop group you can pick up a very nice pair of damaged stained jeans called Std Blue Lowrise (0L group gift) and are just like you would snatch up from your own bedroom floor.
There are some other free items there along with some other well made affordable clothing items worth having a look at as well.

So...What Are You Wearing?

Today I am just showing a few things that I was slowly tossing together during the week.

Up top is the Barista (150L) from Gritty Kitty and I find myself getting some nice mileage out of this hair. It's easy to toss on and add class to just about any outfit you could think of with a nice variety of scripted tones to choose from.

Also the Tokeo Lollipops (25L per flavor or 130L for the pack) from Tokeo Plastik are available in a handy fatpack now if you saw them here and wanted to pick them up there is no better time.

This great looking Knit Jacket (130L) is from B@rerose and as you can see it has a very nice zipper, a prim collar, and rich lush texturing that is perfect for winter.

You get a nice little package with your purchase that includes both a male and female version of the collar, five colors of the jacket and a pair of socks and pants just for good measure. That's a lot of bang for your buck as well as a lot of quality.

These are a newish pair of jeans released at Valiant called the Snuggly Rip Blue Denim Jeans (200L).

I really like the items featured in this shop as they tend to work with a lot of different look and are made with a male point of view in mind from the start.

Each release seems to be something you don't have already and can't wait to pick up and toy around with to see just what looks you might be inspired to toss together.

Once again I am featuring the Monogrind Canvas Shoe (360L) because if you haven't bought these already you should get out there and get them.

Between these and the recent Kalnin's, Soreal, Akeyo and Jeepers Creepers releases I think we men are finally being noticed a bit more for our lack of quality footwear. I can't thank these creators enough for helping to remedy the problem of fine men's footwear.
